Visitors and Societies
Visitors and Societies are always very welcome at Tipperary Golf Club. The course is maintained in excellent condition, with our greens offering superb play-ability and presentation throughout the year. The quality and layout of our course make it very accessible to golfers of all ages and abilities. Our facilities cover everything from practice areas, golfing accessories and the course itself right through to the warm reception you will receive in the clubhouse, bar and restaurant. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies.
Spikes may be worn.
- Golf Buggies
Must have insurance (min. 3rd party) before being allowed on the course.
Evidence of insurance is required.
The club has 2 buggies available for booking.
Set in the shadows of the Galtee Mountains on the road to the scenic Glen of Aherlow, this par 72 parkland course presents a testing but enjoyable challenge while the terrain is suitable for golfers of all ages. Click here for more detail.
- Practice Areas
Next to the Golf Club is Tipperary Driving Range, owned by Tom O’Halloran. A Chipping Green at the rear of the range helps to dial-in those scoring shots before you take to the course. In addition our Putting Green is available for some final fine-tuning before you take to the 1st tee-box. For detail on these click here .
- Golf Shop
The Golf Shop provides the additional items you might need before you take to the fairways. You might also pick up some tips from the the resident EGTF Golf Professional, Darragh McComb.
- Clubhouse, Bar and Restaurant
Our Clubhouse is open to members and visitors. The spacious lounge bar has an impressive expanse of windows revealing beautiful views of the course and Galteemore. We serve tea, coffee, drinks and quality food throughout the day. Our caterers offer a bar menu as well as table d’hôte for those who choose to sit in the restaurant. For detail please click here .
