Arthur Pierse from Tipperary won the Munster Seniors Amateur Open Championship at Limerick Golf Club on Wed 12th May. Arthur Pierse is a former Walker Cup player and Seniors Open Champion At Nairn. He was awarded Exceptional Golf Award in recognition of achievements in golf at the Annual Delegates Meeting of the GUI in November 2007.
