Well done to our Winter League winners Team 5, (Darragh McComb, Alex Ryan, Maurice Power, Martin Hayes, Joe B Ryan) , who beat Team 9 (Patrick Ryan G, Ger Egan, Eddie Fitzgerald, Gerry Gannon, Richard Crowe) by 2.5 – 0.5  . All matches went down to the final hole so the pendulum could easily have swung either way. The league was very popular and a great success, our thanks to Mike O’Brien and all in Games who put in a lot of hard graft behind the scenes.

Are you a Bubba or a Tiger? Next weekend we have our Masters Open Singles. Your Green Jacket awaits.

Our card nights have now come to an end for the year. Thanks to all involved.

Congratulations to Maurice Power & Tom J Ryan who claimed a spot in the Irish Team for this year’s International King’s Cup Pairs Competition, being played in the USA at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge. The local area is well represented with Pat Toomey & William Hanley from Ballykisteen GC also qualifying. Well done all.
