Notes for Diary:
Great weekend for the ladies teams, the junior and minor cup teams are safely through to the next round. The junior cup team beat Nenagh in Charleville and the minor cup team beat Templemore in Dungarvan. The junior cup team will face their local rivals Ballykisteen in Dromoland and the minor cup team will square up against Doneraile in Dundrum, both will be played on July 1st. The club had a stand showcasing our wares at the Canon Hayes Recreation Centre last Friday evening, the event was hosted by one of our most recognisable faces from Irish television Daithi O’Se. There were in excess of 100 stands from the different clubs, charities and organisations attending this event that was sponsored by Bank of Ireland along with other well known figures from the political and GAA circles. A big shout out to Anne O’Donoghue who is off to the 9 holes regional qualifier as she will hope to make it all the way to Carnoustie.
